It was special experience to be on set of Snowed Inn and period piece taking place in the 1820's. Written and Produced by Nasreen Somji the story about a group of strangers stranded in hotel due a massive snow storm. It doesn't take long for drama to begin and everyone is keep everything to themselves, including some with secrets that will have affects on everyone!

The Location

The filming took place in a historic Madison Manor in Toronto. Such a nice spot in the heart of the city that both historic and cozy. The place was packed with actors clothed in 1820's clothing style. Once inside it feels like you took a trip back in time through a time machine to 1820. It was so exiting to be the only media outlet allowed in this unique and fascinating filming location.

The Plot

As it is still early to spill the beans on the plot, we're allowed to tell you that the plot is about a romantic story that happens in the 1820 with a lot of societal complications like class and the struggle between generations. The story involves a an old style fight and a horse-kick injury that was amazingly and realistically done by the make up artist.

The Release

Th movie release is set to be spring or summer 2020. HQ Media Productions might probably be the production partner for the marketing the film and creating trailers and perhaps even the opening night official media partner. Stay tuned for more about that and keep an eye on our blog.
